Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) in the television show. Her role on The Office brought her an Emmy nod for the Best Supporting Actress category and she also received two SAG Awards, both for outstanding performances by an ensemble comedy.
She was born and raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna's mother Anne was a performer in church dramas as a child This sparked her interest in theater.
Fischer is an actress who has the theater background. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. Then, she starred in Steve Martin's new production Meteor Shower. It was an absurdist comedic piece opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for an unprecedented time at the Old Globe Theatre.

She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends there. This memoir is about the relationship between them and how they worked in the production of The Office.
